App At A Time
App Name: Deliveries Status touch
What It Does: Helps you track a package in a single place.
How I most often use it: When I have ordered something I use it daily. On average I buy a couple things online per month…okay maybe it’s more than that!
Has it replaced anything else in your life?: Walking up to reception and sorting through boxes wondering if any are mine.
Most pleasing interaction: When i copy a tracking code in my email and launch the app it detects that i have a tracking code on my clipboard and offers to use it for me.
How does it compare to the web version?: They don’t have one. They have an iPhone/iPad app and an Mac OSX widget. All of them can be synched so I can know no matter where i am that a package has been delivered! I can also quickly see how many more days i have to wait.
Other comments: It’s a small utility app but showed me that a utility app can become a really important part of your app collection. I wouldn’t want to give it (or my online shopping habit) up ;)
